Planetary Carbon Standard for Energy Sector (PCRES)

ACKNOWLEDGMENTS

The development and preparation of the "Planetary Carbon Standard" (PCS) for the Energy Sector was primarily undertaken to facilitate the measurement of carbon emission reductions in projects falling within the purview of the Energy sector. The standard takes into account the valuable publications of several leading organizations in the field.

· The Clean Development Mechanism (CDM)

· The International Organization for Standardization (ISO)

· The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC)

· The World Resources Institute and World Business Council for Sustainable and Development.

· The National Academy of Sciences

SavePlanetEarth hereby acknowledges those organizations for their valuable contributions.

“SavePlanetEarth” (SPE) would like to express its appreciation to the numerous individuals who made invaluable contributions to the development of this new Carbon Standard. It is the hope of Save Planet Earth that this standard will be subject to further improvements based on feedback received from its practical application in Energy Sector projects aimed at carbon reduction on a global scale.
