Purpose
This Monitoring Report (MR) template is to be used by project owners and authorized representatives of Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) projects registered under the Planetary Carbon Standard (PCS). The MR provides details of monitored greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reductions and/or removals, environmental and social performance, and verification readiness.

Section D – Data and Parameters Monitored
Provide detailed data and parameters monitored during the current monitoring period. Include both ex-ante and ex-post parameters, specifying sources, units, and quality control measures.
Section E – Emission Reductions / Removals Summary
Summarize emission reductions and/or removals achieved during the monitoring period, as calculated in accordance with the applied PCS-approved methodology.
Section F – Non-Permanence / Reversal Monitoring
Document any observed carbon loss or reversal events within the project boundary during the monitoring period. If applicable, reference the PCS Reversal & Non-Permanence Event Report and describe corrective measures taken.
